Pressing 'Search' whilst in the lazy search menu takes you to the old

OK, thanks. I had a play around and as far as I can make out, you need
to press search again when the Artists menu item is displayed,
rather than once you've got to Enter Artist
Can anyone comment on the failure to find a two-letter artist (ie.
UK)?
You can change this in slimserver settings-plugins. Find the Lazy Search
settings section, and you'll find options for configuring the minimum lengths
for artist/album/song/keyword search.

Oh dear. That is strange - I just found a problem in the plugin menu
that would stop it from starting from there, but shouldn't crash the
server.
Do you have any error messages from the log?
What model players are you using (I haven't tested it on an original
Well, the fix works for me and I see it is now in the trunk. Thanks

i was hunting down the log file. where is it saved, because
the server
crashes i can't look at http://localhost:9000/log.txt. was
running with
plugins debugging on.
The log file is always a problem. I would suggest stopping SlimServer
(should be easy by crashing it!) and starting again
Just wondering.. Is there a CLI way of determining if a unit's
playing in a special mode like RandomMix/RandomPlay ?
Thanks,

Hi,
Seems lazy search changed somewhere around the time it started handling
accented character. I can no longer lazy search for strings with
punctuation in them (such a R.E.M.).
I tried both 703 and 713 (I recall one of them used to work), and both
produce an empty list.

I just made this change to my installation of AlienBBC to enable me to

What is the reason for this being disabled by default? Is it to prevent

A version of mplayer called mplayer-stdout is part of flipflip's SSODS.
I think it is based on 1.0pre8 but modified to get around the missing
/dev/fd devices.
I believe SSODS also has a copy of lame - I'm not sure of the version.

Hey all,
I've made some modifications/enhancements to the XM radio plug-in. I'd
really like to thank philf for creating this plug-in, it was one of the
reasons I decided to purchase my Squeezebox.
I have tried to make this compatible with SS 6.5, but I'm running
6.3.1. I can say that it seems
