I can't help as you have a SSODS/107+ specific issue. You need to get
the attention of SSODS and 107 users.
The Synology users may read the 3rd party hardware forum more than the
3rd party plugin forum, so a new thread in 3rd party hardware or

The instructions in SSODS are alien to me. Apparently some files have to
be changed. I tried several combinations, but to be honest I am not
really sure what I'm doing. Copied all the original files back.
Is there anybody who can explain (in plain english) how to get AlienBBC
running via SSODS. Gr

Your best advice will come from others who actually use SSODS but as a
starting point - did you do the FAQ instructions

Hi Pippin,
It is nice :-) I do not see the big difference from 0.3.11, but
everything seems to work sligtly better than before. I like the Album
browse mode, although you're right - it's too slow to be really useful
(and I miss cover art for a lot of my collection).
It was a bumpy road to get
I do have SSODS installed but I have no idea how to activate AlienBBC
with it.

mplayer.sh is a shell script to control running mplayer. You still need
a proper mplayer executable installed.
Why can't you use SSODS which has all the AlienBBC wortk done including
a version of mplayer suitable for 107+ ?

Where did you get your mplayer from ?
You cannot use a standard distribution of mplayer because the 107+ has
an ARM processor and you need the Fixed point decoder patch for
REalAudio.
Also if 107's Linux does not support the fd devices /devc/fd/3, you
will need flipflip's patches to mplayer as w

Aloha,
0.3.11 was a bliss, and I was really looking forward to 0.4. And it's
sounds like it's great. However, I suck. I cannot get it to work.
My first shot was installing it as usual, but as a plugin, not a skin
(removing the "Support" plugin"). And I did read the note about needing

It is always a challenge for me to solve a problem but this one gives me
a splitting headache.
I got a squeezbox duet with squeezecenter (7.0) running on a server
(synology 107+) under Linux. I installed the AlienBBC plugin
(v2.00_7.0).
I can access all stations, play them but there is no sound. T

Yes, that's all there is. It's only information about packages available for
FreeBSD (on which FreeNAS is based). Now I'm going home and starting my FreeNAS
dev box. Promised.

Do you have the Song Title source set to Dogstar? Also, in SC can you
see the channels after restarting or do you get the maximum logins
prior to the channel listings? If you can get it to work in SC then it
will work from the Duet controller.

Hey all!
Does anybody have the latest version of Erland Isaksson's TrackStat

Is it perhaps not able to handle albums that have no cover?

Does this also work when listening to internet radio stations (those of
