If I remember right the plugin has some fuzy logic to allow you to
accomplish this indirectly.
If the top line (line a) of the 3line text is null, it'll center line1.

I've been using slimserver for years without any squeezebox, on an
ageing Linux distro.
Just for streaming audio to LAN and regular hi-fi gear.
Now have new SB3, and wondering whether I can get this great looking
plugin to work without upgrading absolutely everything.
Current versions as follows
Very, very cool interface. Thanks very much for your work on this. It's
made life easier.

Thanks for the speedy response. I had been searching for the whole day,
but I guess I was using the wrong search string. Sorry for wasting your
time. Thanks for the work around, all working fine now!

Many plugins have not been published to officially support anything greater
than 7.0. There's not much choice for casual people beta-testing new versions

Hi Stuart,
The plugin is superb. I think I was mistaken that a music library
rescan was going on. I just noticed "ScannerFinder.exe" in the process
list and it stays running once SC 7.0 starts up. However, it seems to
be consuming very little cpu time or memory. I somehow assumed that

Can you post your replacement files so that other users can benefit.

Thanks for the input.
Actually, the RC2 did compile all the subfolders, it failed on the last
steps. I tried inserting the unmodified ao_pcm.c & mp_msg.c and then
mplayer built ok.
I then by hand modified these files by comparing the modfied ones with
the original, removed the previosly compiled m
Ok. thanks for the explanation.
Maybe an option for the future to change the alignment of line 1&2

See post #11 in this thread for a workaround to the BBC/AlienBBC

My guess is related to what Howard said. If you only have an SBR as a
player then you can't assign SDT as a screensaver, so it probably isn't
running. I have SDT set as the saver for all of my players, I hav
I am having problems with getting the 5 live stream to work. All the
other BBC live streams work fine, and indeed the 5 live stream option
which is provided in a dos box at the end of the Alien BBC
installation, in order to test that mplayer is installed correctly,
also works perfectly.

I'm not saying to change line 3.
There's the 3line text (3 lines on left).
And then there's the line 1 and line 2 text that starts next to them.

Works fine for me :-)
I am however using the latest version of trackstat beta 9. Try to

Hi Ian,
I have had Lazy Search installed on SC 7.0 and 7.0.1 running under
Windows XP and have not experienced anything like the problems you seem
to be having. Unfortunately my computer skills are not anywhere near the
level required to trouble shot and solve your problems. Hopefully

The Lazy Search plugin shouldn't cause a rescan of your music library.
What it does do is check whether there have been any changes to the
database that need the Lazy Search index in the database to be updated.
This does not, however, cause a rescan of your music files and is
entirely database-
I installed the LazySearch plugin last week (I'm running SC 7.0).
It worked fine but whenever Squeezecentre restarts it now triggers
a new & changed rescan of my music library. I prefer to not have
auto rescanning of my music library (instead I rely on a scheduled
overnight one). Also the Scanner

I went for choice 3: I modified PluginManager.pm to ignore MaxVersion checks :-)
All 35 of my plugins remained working from 7.0 -> 7.1 -> 7.

Wait... it is. Put in an asterisk, and it will always be accepted. But
Erland doesn't like this, as it renders the check obsolete. Thus I
explained how it should be done. Which you don't like. But you've got the
choice.
