At the moment the only ways to change ratings on the Boom is:
1. Through the web interface
2. By using a standard Squeezebox Classic remote and holding down a
number button for a while
3. By also installing the Context Menu plugin and holding down right

I confess complete ignorance. Just bought the Duet tonight and am
having great fun setting it up - so far quite successfully.
One thing that's not clear to me is how to specify a URL for a
particular stream. I've installed AlienBBC, and it appears to work.
An example of what I'd like to includ

Pedantry: `echo "PWON"` will output "PWON". I'd recommend the
crystal-clear `printf 'PWON\r'` though `echo -n -e 'PWON\r'` would also
produce "PWON" on Linuxy/GPLish systems. Shame about netcat; hope

"nc" is netcat. You might want to try asking on the infrant forums.

Ok, I was afraid of that.
Could you tell me the URL of the first pandora screen when you enter

I've updated the attachments in the first post.
There is now a version which works on 7.3 (BBCiPlayer-7_3.zip). Please
note that this is slightly limited in comparsion to the 7.2 version - it
does not get the correct stream lengths for radio3 and radio5 programs.
This means scanning forwards

I am sorry that the 7.3 is not supported yet, but in the meantime the
developers have solved my transcoding problem in 7.2.1 too, so after a
lot of fiddeling I am back on 7.2.1 with working SvrPowerControl and
transcoding, and I am happy as a log !
Happy holidays...

Is anyone else having an issue where the display gets stuck on tonight's

Any help is appreciated.

God, I am beginning to despair of the BBC. I just wish they'd stick to
good old mp3 and stop screwing around. They (and the production
companies they get their material from) should just accept that once
something is broadcast it is public property and will be captured and
copied, secured or not.
Is there a way to create a CustomBrowse menu that only shows tracks in a
certain MultiLibrary library which have Playcount = 0?

That is how AlienBBC is designed to work - only play on SB players. Do
a search if want a workaround.

I have a very similar problem (described in a post from 3 days ago).
In my case, the player remains silent if I use my PSP as a client.
But it does work fine if I use SoftSqueeze as a client...
