Hi all, I had some spare time over the weekend and *finally* managed to
fix the foreign character issue! :)
I'll be testing it over the next few days just to be 100% sure and
tidying up some of the code before releasing SugarCube 1.7 later this
week.

My guess is that the line endings have changed from unix to dos when
you made that change to the install.xml file.
Anyways, I posted a newer version of the plugin on my webpage which
hopefully works again in your setup.

Substitute2.rm ). SC should pickup the file as RealAudio and try to
play it as a file with mplayer. Post again if it does not play and

Wow, this plugin was great. I spent hours trying to get Alien working
when I ran SB6.5 yet this one just dropped in with SC7.2 and worked in
minutes. I'm running on 7.2 which I thought wasn't supposed to work,
but seems to be all okay for me. I guess there'll be some issues I
haven't picked up on
A podcast... why didnt I think of this before? I successfully downloaded
the rm media file with clut and the header indicates
xaudio/x-pn-realaudio. I haven't tried playing it yet with the SB3
(we'll see tonight when I come home) but it should help things that the
file is now locally present. I

The segment comment was specific to CarTalk which is currently only
available as a Podcast because of a problem in mplayer.

I'm having trouble with MusicIP import during SC scan, when it finds song paths
that contain foreign characters.
SC7.3, Windows XP.
For example, in the scanner.log, I have:

I am using FreeNas v0.68, Slimnas v1.1.2, and Squeezecenter v7.1
