Thanks for your answer. I did not know about /etc/sudoers but this was
probably the reason that my logging did not work.
As mentioned, I have disabled SvrPowerPlugin at the moment to be sure
that the server crashes are really related to the plugin. Until now the

On my Squeezebox there is a plentiful supply of 'local' radio stations -
except for BBC Radio WM.
While this particular station is available via BBC iPlayer on the web,
it doesn't appear via the BBC iPlayer plug-in on my Squeezebox (either

problem. It shouldn't be used and it's looking like I should remove it
altogether.
There should be no reason to use anything but the squeezeslave player
type and that's the only option I support and test all releases against.

Currently BBC local radio still uses RealAudio so you need AlienBBC
installed. BBC Radio WM is in the AlienBBC Local radio menu.

OK, I tried TrackStat, DP, SQLP and CB on my Ubuntu server and while it
slowed down the server dramatically during startup (I'll send you a log,
took 15min or so to start - without scanning) after that everything
seems to work fine.
The log file is full of ridiculous comments (not only from your

I couldn't include the XM Radio Plugin in the Internet Radios menu for

problem is the peculiar way that the Internet Radio menu builds where it
assumes constituent plugins are based on the OPMLBased class. Options

James,
Are you already sure whether you will or won't be able to fix the
latest LastFM / Squeezescrobbler problem?

Have you considered squeezeslave? It's possible to run in the
background/minimized. It doesn't provide any GUI at all (which may or
may not be what you want). I run squeezeslave when I'm logged-in to my
windows PC which serves as a virtual squeezebox - I then control
