Hi,
SuperDateTime shows for the wind speed either "Calm" or a number with a
lot of digits, depending on the weather station.
I don't know whether the number is meaningful, but I assume it is not.
Is there a format, the displayed wind speed should have? Is it possible
to specify the format, i.e.
I didn't own a Mac before so I only wanted to support Windows. Now I own
a Mac and use iTunes on the Mac so I had to change the script so it
supports both Mac and Windows.
The bundled TrackStatiTunesUpdate.pl script should work on both Windows
and Mac, let me know if it doesn't.

Hi there - I don't know if this is the solution to your problem or
not..but when I upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04 my mmserver script, which was
pretty much the one from here (and the default that came with MusicIP):

I have an Atom-based server wired to my router, and wake on lan works
perfectly. I will say that the server power control plugin is great and
really easy to use. Although you might be able to do the same things by
configuring XP (I use Ubuntu, so I wouldn't know), the plugin has some

I've installed MusicIP on my Ubuntu 9.04 Squeezecenter system following
the instructions in the wiki. Everything works fine except for the fact
that MusicIP won't start on boot. For instance, if after boot I check
port 10002, there is nothing there. If I enter "/etc/init.d/mmserver

Hi there -
Sadly, 5.8.8 doesn't seem to be working for me under the latest 7.4
nightly build. Not sure what information I can provide to troubleshoot,
but let me know and I'll be happy to provide whatever logs you need.
Thanks!

Hi,
I have removed 1.2.5 and installed 1.2.6. Works again, but no sound.
Any tips on why this would be. Songs show as playing, album art appears
and I can skip etc, but no sound.
Here's hoping it is an easy fix.

Hey, Very nice!
I only monitor a few forums (Boom being the primary one), so I never
saw this.
I've been thinking of writing such an app, but never got the time or
gumption.
I'm glad somebody else got around to it!

That's what you need. A wifi card shuts down, so it cannot receive any
WOL packet. On the other hand, an ethernet card can be set to minimal
mode and trigger the computer to start
I updated my SqueezeCenter recently to 7.3.3, which prompted a firmware
update to my Squeezeboxes. After that the screensaver is failing.
I checked the Wiki and noticed that there is a new version, which I
downloaded and installed. In fact it looked like the upgrade to 7.3.3

In case someone else looks at this thread, I'll answer my own question:
Q: Do you know if the PCM -> Ogg format conversion requires floating

A: Yes. The IceS program converts the PCM to Ogg-Vorbis. Vorbis uses
a DCT in constructing the compressed stream.

Hi Stevecross
Wake on Lan should work WITHOUT having to download any plugins.
You don't say what particular equipment you have, eg Duet, SB3 etc or
your configuration, eg wired or all wireless?
You will need to make sure that there is at least one WIRED connection
to your receiver in order for

Well. If there is something playing it say that it going to sleep after
the playlist end and if you are playing a radiostation it never end.
Anyway it works the way I want.
Thanks.
