Yes, but which version of the _plugin_ did you install? Go to
Settings-Plugins and look at the entry for Server Power Control.
And when you say controller, are you talking about the IR remote for
a Squeezebox, or are you talking about an actual Squeezebox
Hi there,
I hope someone can help
iplayer works fine (great app thankyou!), unless I have Flash AAC
turned on, when I get 0s/0s on the squeezebox display and no sound.
I strongly suspect the following log files to be relevant :

When playing some albums the Album Art does not appear on iPeng. But if
you go into Song Info then Show Artwork then the album art appears. Why
would it show via Song Info but not when playing tracks from the album.
This only happens with some of my albums. Others works ok.

Do you have any firewalls which prevent the server making a connection
to port 1935? (you may need to explicitly allow this
If the artwork does appear in NowPlaying but not while browsing, please
try Settings-iPeng Settings-Flush Cache.
If it does not appear on NowPlaying, too, it's probably an issue I'm
seeing when the server scans new albums by browsing into their folder. I
then get an absolute path to the file and

This is, as you mention pretty ambiguous. When adding Mix by Artist

Very Nifty.

I followed the instruction to install pulse here :

Then I tried to change (I wanted to see the behavior) the configuration

I will keep the popups in the 7.3 version. Bluegaspode has given me
some pointers for the popups to try in 7.4 and I'll either enable or

I'll have to banish popups for now as they screwed up
Good thought - all outgoing ports are open and I even tried a port
forward on1935 for incoming comms to the squeeze server

Brilliant. I can also now listen to BBC outside the UK using iPlayer on

Hi BPA,
I was wondering why you never fixed your repository naming scheme. Do
you not want people to be able to download the softsqueeze 3.91 beta via
the plugins tab on SBS web control?

Hello there,
I have an error showing in the log with CustomSkip (log : warnings)
:
-Plugins::CustomSkip::Plugin::executeDynamicPlayListFilter (615) Error
filtering tracks with Plugins::CustomSkip::Plugin: Can't locate object
method durationSeconds via package Slim::Schema::Track at

I've posted a new release, v1.2.7 to
http://slimscrobbler.sourceforge.net and updated the plugin repository.
With Frederik's changes the plugin seems to be working OK to me!

Right, but I couldn't find any documentation of this API - thus the

changing.

If I haven't tweaked any settings (ie. bass=0, balance=0 etc) does the
plugin change the audio in any way?

If this isn't possible, is there any service that does the same thing

Thanks

I can't reproduce this for either the US or Canadian sites. Both are
working just fine. Without any debugging info I'm at a loss here
because everything seems okay to me.
