just too weird. I need to pack a server for a friend soon (and update 2
others), so SC7.3.4 with recent firmwares do just fine I believe.

What do you guys think: should the 'on-idle' and 'not-idle' stuff be
broken out of SrvrPowerCtrl and put into a separate plugin...something
along the lines of the PreventStandby plugin for Windows? SrvrPowerCtrl
has always been about trying to control power states on a headless,
dedicated SBS ser
I'll have a look at ACC, but with regards to using SQL etc, it's all
above my technical ability, unfortuantely.

the end of the playlist, it wont do anything, (add a single track or a

You could use any of the typical SQL tools to connect directly to the
database and look at the data in it, run queries and export data. I can
let you know the name of a free download if you want.
I think you could also probably set it up as an ODBC data source for

Should be fixed in the latest 7.5 nightlie
Same problem here on Leopard. Energy saver settings ignore usb
connected hard drive activity and still shut the server down, I just
removed sleep mode from energy saver, activate manually. But my use
case is Mac Mini dedicated to Squeeze and ripping tasks, so its easy.

ok I will log log a ticket, is this also related to why I cant just play
a single track too.
let me elaborate, I have changed the settings in ipeng and in setting
to allow me to play a single track but unless I use the 'add next' it
will add the whole album.
If I try to just add to the end of th
Officially Energy Saver should only put the Mac to sleep if there is no
keyboard activity, no mouse activity, and no hard drive activity.
I am not sure if it sometimes fails to behave properly if there is no
hard drive activity.
On my system something prevents Energy Saver putting the machine to
