The URL for Waveinput uses a wavin: prefix and then you add the device name that follows -D in the arecord. So if permissions are correct then the URL you should be using is wavin:mon_mix Enable Debug level logging for plugin_waveinput and you can see the arecord command the plugin is using to

When using the SB3 it is possible, while playing a song, to look at the details for song and search for Artist, Album, Genre etc by navigating to the right. That would be very handy for spotify as well (avoid typing at all costs). Not sure it it is possible to include the same functionality in

I'm trying to get this plugin to run with my Qnap TS-459. The Spotify menu is showing up in my Squeezebox Touch. But when trying to access anything within the menus i get 404 not found errors. I have tryed with both the original spotifyd file and the alternative one. Here's from the server log:
