Any progress on this and the Album Review plugin? Really missing it.
I released 2.9.8 and 2.9.6 respectively about three weeks ago. Don't you
see them on the plugin settings page?

hmm.. I removed pulseaudio and kept only alsa. I reinstalled LMS (stable
cause the "testing" one gave me missmatching sums errors), and it still
didn't work. I tried it with the gnome-alsa
If the adudio recording is working OK and still no audio from LMS when
playing wavin:default (you should wait up to 30 secs) - then need to
check a few LMS specifics.
LMS installation is normal and you haven't replaced or done a special
installs of flac ?

Regarding the artist image, I removed that for a while since on large
collections it made the UI very sluggish and sometimes crashed. It will
find its way back soon once I've got a less memory consuming solution in
place.

sources and the playlist is quite good!

Thank you for promptly looking into these items. I figured a
performance issue was the case regarding the artist pictures. It did
take a long time to load before and usually it wouldn't complete. I
look forward to the updated version and am happy to provide you with
more feedback in the future

Thanks for getting a new release out there. It is improving each time.
Just a few suggestions:
- Could you make the album art larger in the Now Playing screen?
- On the Artist screen, the ARTISTSORT or ALBUMARTISTSORT tags seem to
be ignored while they are shown properly in the Squeezeserver web

Hello Triode,
I am writing a Control4 driver for your spotify plugin and have it
mostly working. However, one issue I have is that the "Artist mix" and
"similar artist mix" commands don't actually work.
I am attempting to play them using the standard
[mac addr] spotify playlist play item_id:5.1
Naively hoping you will be working on a version that also works with
Synology NAS.

After a very hectic summer I've finally found the time to release a new
version.
It includes som performance Changes to the artist view, a new mainscreen
with now playing info, option to switch players more easily and some
other stuff.

Well, the problem is not the app itself, it works with the Logitech
builds.
The problem is within Synologys build of LMS where they've screwed up
the HTTP Header.
A Http Header should end with a CRLF, but Synology for some reason only
returns a CR.
This is the only software on Synology devices tha
For me, I am able to change the IP address by using the Charms window
from the right hand side while in the app. I select Settings, then
Connections. From there I can add or edit my connections including
changing the IP address of the server.

I was using Deezer as a music streaming service and it worked well. Then
they stopped it unless you paid £10 pm like Spotify. So I decided to try
out Napster which is still £5 pm. However it has come up with an error:
This player does not support Rhapsody. A Squeezebox2 or higher is
required.

Yes.
Is there a work around?
Yes. Use a different service :-). Napster/Rhapsody require encryption and
a certificate on the player.

I would say only about 10% of streams on YouTube are now working for me
with this plugin. I keep seeing what look like some kind of socket
errors in the log.
Here are a few errors I see occasionally:

Not sure what the problem is, I am running both of those versions & am

Argh... they did it again: more page layout changes. Sometimes I think I
should give up these plugin
