On my setup, Various Artists is at the top of the list no matter what
it is called
But if I double-click on it to get a list, it takes me to the Search

As you have diagnosed spotifyd is currently using the tcp send buffer as
the main buffer for the stream.

I have playlists made up of many radio stations and music service

On the playlist listing page, many of these stations are displayed as

Others show up as the actual stations (eg, Solo Piano, WBZ, etc).
Hi all,
three years ago I tried to configure WaveInput for Linux and failed
miserably. Having not felt any need to spend more time on this issue,
today I thought I might give it another try.
What I'm trying to do is to copy all sound (not just from a specific
application) to the Squeezebox.

Hereunder a copy/paste of all the section :
Logitech Media Server Version : 7.8.0 - 1387542508 @ Tue Dec 31 19:18:28

Nom d'hôte : DiskStation
Adresse IP du serveur : 192.168.0.18
Port HTTP du serveur : 9000
Just one further piece of information. I've run ss while streaming a
track from Spotify on both 2.6.32 and 3.2 kernels and it appears that
twice the memory is allocated by the 3.2 kernel for the same Send Queue
size, so the buffer's now filling up twice as quickly. So that explains

It's been a longtime since I got it work with pulseaudio and things may
have changed.
First question - do you really need pulseaudio ? For a lot of users
pulseaudio is part of default and do not make use of pulseaudio
facilities.
If you must use pulseaudio. Since you are trying to record audio
Hi,
Let me get caught up. Smart mix sounds like a good companion to Music
IP mixer. I don't see it in the plugins tab on the Squeezebox server.
Do I possibly need to upgrade to a newer software version? Do I have
to go to a certain place to get the download?
Thanks,
I think you may need 7.8. Not sure. But it simply shows up as 3rd party
plugin if available in version.

First of all, it's default in my setup and trying to remove it leaves

How can I test if the port is still working?
If it is the USB, can I change some config somewhere to prevent the
problem?
Or, failing that, is there a workaround, like a way to ping the port
every so often to keep it alive.
Thanks
