I've uploaded a 0.2.6.4-dev-3 which (hopefully) solves a few problems
reported by osv. I had to change a few low level things in the
communication with the CC, it should result in a much more responsive
solution, but I'd like to be sure I did not break anything else, so
testers welcome :)

I won't say definitive end because there are alternative ways of getting
the info -
I had feared that the BBC had pulled the feeds. So, does this mean the
definitive end of iPlayer Extras? I used it, loads, every day. If it's
gone, it's gone, but I'll miss it terribly :(
BPA, as always, thank you for all your efforts.

That's good.

Yes and no.
There is a balance - BBC don't want to be held back

Edit to S3X report
I checked the Jongo settings using the Pure Connect app (which is
awful!) and discovered that the speaker volume was set to zero. I
raised this a few notches, and now the speaker plays fine via the bridge
plugin.

BBCiPlayer should not be at lowres ? What do you mean ?
I understand missing the backlog at more than 7 days.

Yes, but BBCiPlayer playback is at lowres and does not offer catch-up
over a number of weeks. If the loss of these feeds is not temporary
it's a big blow to me.

BBC have pulled the plug on the XML API that Extras uses. This has been
expected for the last few years. The message BBC warning this would
ahhpen is as follows

Hi there,
I have had a pause in using my Jongo S3X speaker - but tried to use it
today after updating the plugin.
The player is discovered, an I can start some music or an internet radio
channel, but no sound is coming out form the player.
Once in a while I can get it to play one song, but then
