(sorry) but precisely what's happening when you play a local file?
LMS 7.7,
I've uploaded a new version 0.2.0. No new features, just new binaries
for Linux x86_64/i386/arm and macOS. This build should now run on
Raspberry Pi1 / pCP, too.
In the web UI (Settings/Advanced/Spotty) you should now get more
diagnostic information in case of failure. This includes the binary
I've not touched the LMS (7.9.0) and PcP (V3.02) in weeks, no reboots,
What LMS build is this? It has seen considerable changes recently to
improve handling of https. Your system might not come with all the
libraries needed.

Sometimes it struggles still a little bit at the beginning (but if I

It didn't run from LMS, but would run when starting manually? What's the

And the terminal would freak out
Never mind, the quality is set in the MySB app.
Oh, that setting currently has no impact on the format used by Spotty.
It would always use the highest quality stream. Is this something you'd
like to be able to change?

Yes. If I wanted to have a Connect only device, that would be easy. It's
the integration with LMS as we know it which makes things a little more
complicated.

It's interesting that it works under pure raspbian jessie but apparently
not under expecting's max2play flavour. I'm wondering whether the latter
may just be a pi1 issue (rather optimistically for me). I'll have a go
on my pi2 later.
Yes, I mentioned that Pi1 was causing problems with pCP, too.

An update should be on your way. Quite to my surprise the issue was
intermittant: sometimes I did get the list, sometimes I didn't... Turns
out both ways I implemented to fetch that list had minor issues. Should
hopefully be more reliable again. Thanks for the heads up!
