Just uploaded a later version of the log.
Interruptions occurred at 15:31:57, 15:37:45, 15:42:50 (-ish, plus/minus
a second or two).
Thanks. Not sure what is going on there: out of the blue LMS seems to
ask the plugin for the next track. This should only happen when it's
assuming all audio

LMS 7.9.1 on QNAP 219P+
3 wired Touch End Points
Jolida Tube DAC III
Marantz 2270 to Boston Acoustics Slimlines
Marantz 7010 to B CM10 S2
I updated LMS (7.9.2 - 1536072399) and Castbridge (1.3.1) but the
/usr/local/slimserver/prefs/castbridge.xml file still doesn't update
when detecting new Chromecasts, as mentioned above.
The "mDNSsearchCallback" messages in the log prove that my firewall
settings are correct, right?

Just uploaded a later version of the log.

The first two were 'Bill' interruptions.
Each of these interruptions apparently occurred at about the time of
"Fetching new block of events".

Sorry I can not offer more help. However you could look over the Ubuntu
Forum thread where I got my directions for the Cli install ,perhaps I
missed a step in my description. Start at post #9 with @nlee2.

New log submitted.
I don't know the seconds, but a next track interrupted a playing track
sometime during 11:21.

No, but debug logging is still enabled, so I'll note the time (hh:mm:ss)
when another one happens, and send the log again.

Done that.
Do you remember when exactly the hiccup happened?

The latest chromecast plugin (1.3.1) isn't installing on my system
(didn't this happen with one of your plugins a while back?). It stays
uninstalled (UPnP and airplay are fine).
LMS 7.9.1 on VortexBox Midi box, Xubuntu 17.10, FLACs 16->24 bit,
44.1->192kbps. Touch & EDO. 2nd Touch standard.
