I did attach the server.log with spotty in Info log level. In there is
nothing I can make sense of.
spotty-hf just dies without a line.
You could try to run it from a shell, to see whether you'd get something
to errout. You'll find the command line you need in the log file, where
it says it's

System is Rpi3b+, pCP 4.0 with LMS and Squeezelite/Jivelite
Everything ran OK, sometimes the connection btn the Win10 Spotify app
and the player was lost, but most of the time the connection could

Great suggestion - I checked and the devices are not muted. They play
other services like Pandora just fine. Its only LMS.

Yet the Infinite Cage DASH version from Extra is 45minutes long.

I haven't seen it said anywhere, but it seems that podcasts run at 128k
MP3. Presumably its a backwards compatible thing ..?

(Podcast) perfectly well when selected for Iplayer play again.

Ill need to correct and do some testing. Scanner is reporting a
different playlist as non existent on server when in fact it is and
ostensibly has the same permissions as this playlist w
post clean & rescan - no obvious errors in scanner or server log
