The SB Radio at my office has been exhibiting strange behavior since,
yesterday, when I installed the recent firmware Version 8.0.1 r16867. I
typically use mysqueezebox.com instead of running LMS on the work
computer as I mostly listen to a jazz radio station.

guess it must be due to the accent. It was tagged correctly. I wonder if
it would find

doesnt find it either. There is an AllMusic review.
Jim
I just tried to find an album review for Dire Straits - Communique with
nothing returned. Does the attached log show anything?

Is there a "+1" problem when scanning the library?
Possible. Though I probably wouldn't call it a "problem". It's just that
I'm not too obsessed about those numbers... some of these numbers indeed
report more than just the files or artists or whatever, but rather the
number of "steps" a scan

I've done a bit more reading on this, and after installing linux I have
basic control over my LSX via wifi, using commands like this:
echo -ne "\x53\x30\x81\x12\x0b" > /dev/tcp/my speakers IP address/50001
- On
echo -ne "\x53\x30\x81\x9b\x0b" > /dev/tcp/my speakers IP address/50001

No, it was a complete rescan.

It was 2.0... :)
Upgrading to 5.1 now, will have another go after that.

Hi!
I have one question regarding the number of artist pictures.
In my folder with the pictures are 879 files where one is artist.png. So
normally I would expect that there are 878 artists, maybe 879 when
counting "Collections" (there is no picture for this) as an artist.
But when I let LMS

That would be high up my list too. It would be great to pick up from
where I stopped listening on another device.

The official Spotify app also suggests genre mixes, decade mixes,
artists mixes and artists radios on the “made for you page”, but Spotty
does not show these extra suggestions.
Are these mixes, or some playlists brought to the front every now and
then? I don't see them.
I don't really understand the Spotify app home page.
It's based on what would be presented to you on Spotify's landing page
(app or web site). It's content they think might be of interest to you.
If it changes, then it's because Spotify thinks they should offer you
some different music.

Usually, it should not be necessary to change this - and it might cause
a problem in the future - e.g. if your ISP

I found out that the dns settings in piCorePlayer where automatically
set to my default gateway. I have now changed these to my providers dns
server.

I've spent hours trying to figure out a way to get Audible working with
squeezebox.
(I know mp3 files can be used, but that route is clumsy for easy
listening)
I discovered there are several python scripts to access audible, but
being programming illiterate I've no idea if they work.
