Seconded! Brilliant work guys. My world order has been restored.

I noticed the same problem as of today (14/9).
I didn't have the problem the last time I used it - approximately 11/9
or 12/9.
I didn't change anything on my PC in that time - but my PC did reboot (
I assumed because of a Windows update).
My current setup is:
Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9
Hi bpa,
I followed your instructions and 1.5 is mostly working but the main
feature I use (listen again by day) isn't. It seems it is trying to play

Out of Interest ... I just did a restart of LMS ... and I'm still
getting these message in the log file.
I'd expect LMS to just "idle" - as no clients have been run. Who/where
should I report this?

I have set "Seconds to delay start live stream" to 5 mins. It starts in
about 10 seconds - as it does when this value is set to 1 min.
I have just tried 5min and 1min and restarted Radio 4 and Radio 5
numerous times.
I don't think this value is having any effect.
BUT
I then set it to "no delay"
Just had 3 glitches...
First was at 11:46 and lasted about a minute - and generated errors in
log file.
Next two were shortly after - and generated no errors in log file.
No glitches since. 11:51.

Sorry - I owed you a log file.
The "errors" occur when I start iPlayer plugin.
This happens every time, with all 3 URLSs.
No errors are recorded when it glitches.
Don't recall noticing the other messages before. any ideas?

I just wanted to try the default of 15 seconds first. It didn't work.
Now changed to 3 minutes.
It started playing before 3 minutes had elapsed - and I'm still getting
dropouts. Possibly worse than earlier but my wife is now streaming
iPlayer TV.
We only have 2.8mb incoming speed.

I don't recall changing it. I've set it to 15 seconds for now. I'll see
how that goes.
I wasn't asked if I wanted to restart LMS but I did anyway. Was this
necessary?

Ah okay.
1. Is this Live or Listen Again ? ... Live - BBC Radio 5
2. Any message in the log ?
3. What is the "Live delay" ... "Seconds to delay start live stream" is
5 seconds
4. What player is being used ? ... Squeezeplay on same Windows 10 PC as
LMS
No synced players.
I tried this - and it's definitely better - but a glitch every 15
minutes or so.
I saw something about increasing buffer size - so I'll try the advice
there.
It's not far off working so that could do the trick.
Thanks for your help.

the same programmes.

LMS shows Spotify playing as "320k VBR, Ogg Vorbis (Spotify)" so I

Thanks for the update. I went and had a look at the thread - and I see
people are testing for you. I'm okay with the alternative URLs you
suggested I use for now. But I will join in at some point. :)

I think I am seeing the same "busy times" that you mention. Thanks for
that. I will start monitoring the times when I have problems.
I can't change the "Live Stream Preference" to MP3 ... I only have the

Hi Nik,
I installed this yesterday - replacing the official Logitech app - and
it's so much better.
My only request would be to add the ability to select "album artists" in
addition to "artists" to avoid the 100 or so artists I have that only
