While I could move the file structure in to the new LMS instance, I
think that because it is running in a docker prevents the changes from
becoming permanent. However it seems that anything I install via the
plugin manager would persist. I removed the cygwin library from my
installed instance.
Thanks for the advice. When I look at Settings/Information, I see three
plugin folders listed: /config/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins,
/usr/sbin/Plugins, /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/Plugins.
My target LMS instance is a docker container. There is an external data
store outside the container
I have a standalone instance of Vortexbox 2.3 running on a 1U pizza box
server. It has served me well for many years and collected a number of
useful plugins. I have recently moved to an unRaid docker instance of
LMS to test out Spotty, but now I am ready to promote this to my main
system.
Thanks for the quick reply. Beer money on the way. How can I find
Paul?

First off - thanks for saving Spotify integration.
In the Triode plugin I could search for an artist and in one of the
options returned was the ability to create a playlist with similar
artists. Is there a way to get a similar functionality with Spotty?
Dude, you're good:-). I don't recall turning that on (must have been
sleep-listening last night). I found it was enabled in the settings and
turned it off. Everything is back to normal. Thanks much.

I rebooted LMS server and iPhone. Still same behavior. I can generate
a similar artist playlist in the web browser (and also in my Android SC
app) and see the resulting list in the playlist screen on iPeng.
Another interesting thing - when I go to the iPeng playlist screen,
select Edit, and
Hello Coolio. I received the latest update to iPeng yesterday (I
believe 9.2). Using iPeng, I can go into My Apps, select the Spotify
Core app, select a Recent Artist and then select the Similar Artists
Mix. At this point I would usually have the play (or add) button with
the ability to start
Looks like Apple has the update now. Downloaded it and, at first blush,
it fixes my crash. Also saw the new hi-res thumbs up for Spotify
streams. Thanks once again for your quick support.

Hello Pippin. I'm having a weird crash with iPeng 8. When I bring up
the app, it appears to briefly show the rate me screen and then crash.
I've stopped the running instance of iPeng (double click and swipe off
icon) and I've restarted the iPhone (5s) completely. I'm able to use
the classic??
Thanks for the quick reply. In this particular case, iPeng crashes
before any music (or player) can be selected. It's a quick crash, but
it looks like the iPeng splash screen displays, then very briefly the
now playing screen with no player briefly displayed, then it shifts
to the last selected
A little more info. I was able to change to a local track via web
interface, reboot the iPhone and was able to get iPeng control back (it
was the Apple problem report screen that was popping up). It does
hiccup when I try to go to a Spotify similar artist mix (funny - it's
been working for
It's showing up now.

In spotify for windows and ios I can create a radio station from a

With this plugin I dont see the option to create them in ipeng or the

Did I miss it? And if this is no supported yet, maybe this can be added?
And thanks again for this
I posted over in the Vortexbox forum as well, but I was hoping that
someone might have seen something similar on a vanilla Linux/LMS
install. I have a Linux box (vortexbox) set up with LMS and a local
player using squeezelite to a single output (default green) on the local
sound card. I also
Definitely using the 3rd party Triode app. Also made sure that original
OEM Spotify plugin is disabled.

Thanks for the quick reply. Looks like I need to bark up Triode's tree.
I'll try your suggestion.
Still good enough to get you complete consciousness:-)

like I should be asking you.

I've been using the PlayMySong Spotify app on my local PC. It has the
ability to allow me to host a jukebox that is visible/controllable by
friends using the app on their various smartphones (android and iOS
flavors). While it works great for local playback on the host machine,

I did not find an answer with a quick search, so I thought I would ask

Thanks. That did the trick. Strange that MySqueezebox.com would have
any interaction.
FYI, the information plugin list still shows a Rhapsody V1.0, but it
does not show up in the My Apps.
