I'm not sure about that. A track by Antonín Dvo#345;ák has been incorrectly scrobbled to last.fm when using MusicIP. But yes, perhaps sanitizing the file/directory names to 7-bit AND letting MusicIP plugin just use the mixable status and not the title/artist information might help. -- sbellon

I just noticed that my second and third point are related. Those files that cannot be played (although being present in the library) are files that have UTF-8 characters in the filename or album directory name. Is there a workaround for this UTF-8 issue with MusicIP? -- sbellon
