I'm having trouble with the SDT Wunderground plugin. Up until a few days
ago I've been using the other SDT plugin, but that keeps failing to
parse the weather output of weather.com, so I decided to switch over to
the Wunderground version of the plugin.
I registered for a Wunderground API key and
Hi all,
first of all, please bear with me if I overlooked some information
already present, but buried somewhere in the threads. I tried to read
through the relevant parts, but most likely I have overlooked
something.
I'm running LMS 7.9.0 on a Debian unstable box. I installed the
ShairTunes2
. I'm running the latest nightlies of the
7.8 branch on a Debian unstable GNU/Linux box. I'm using pulseaudio.
The group setup on the box looks like this:
Code:
$ grep pulse /etc/group
audio:x:29:pulse,squeezeboxserver,timidity,sbellon
pulse:x:130:
pulse-access:x:131
to play, the amp is turned on, and when the Touch does not play
for a certain time, the amp gets switched off.
Therefore I'm looking for events like play, pause, stop, etc.
where handlers can be hooked into. Does such a thing exist? Is this a
viable approach?
TIA.
Greetings,
Stefan

to rename the profiles as well.
Wouldn't it make sense to configure the profiles with the MAC address
of the players and not their name? Or is this already possible and I
just missed it?
Merry Christmas all!

help to set up or to verify that my hardware is not able to do it,
would be nice.

I don't think this is normal behaviour. My upgrade from 7.5.1 nightlies
to 7.5.1 release and then to 7.5.2 nightlies went smooth without having
to reinstall anything at all.

Funny, your reply ended up as an empty email on the mailing list
interface. Here in the forum it looks ok however ...

I'm not sure about that. A track by Antonín Dvo#345;ák has been
incorrectly scrobbled to last.fm when using MusicIP.
But yes, perhaps sanitizing the file/directory names to 7-bit AND
letting MusicIP plugin just use the mixable status and not the
title/artist information might help.

that then everything is just fine.
I think I'll remove MusicIP and live a happy life like I did before.

not
working correctly and songs vanishing from the library or not being
able to play them).
I'm looking forward to hearing your comments!

I just noticed that my second and third point are related. Those files
that cannot be played (although being present in the library) are files
that have UTF-8 characters in the filename or album directory name.
Is there a workaround for this UTF-8 issue with MusicIP?

Thanks for the information. Pity. I think, a small fix in the right
place could make the MusicIP plugin working.
