Fedora 13, so I don't know if this is a
Linux/Windows thing. Seems like I'm missing / not using a certain
character set or something like that.

I'm seeing the same thing. I was just searching around to see if
anyone had reported the issue yet. I initially thought it was just a
Spring Training thing, but the issue has definitely carried over to the
first week of the regular season.

, not the official Sun version, and they don't work
exactly like the Sun packages. Even if you subsequently installed the
Sun version, Firefox may still be using the open packages.

When the display freezes the scrolling stops and the time sticks.
Also, during this freeze the remote is completely non-operational.

and then the
squeezecenter process jumps up to around 40-50% of the CPU for a few
seconds, then things return to normal and playback kicks back in. This
cycle will repeat itself every five songs or so.
