If I go to the web interface for LMS, I can see "SB Player 4" listed on the select menu for players. From the web interface I can play to my phone over my data connection, but Squeeze Ctrl is not functioning as a controller in any way.

Just downloaded the App to Samsung S4. Some questions if I may; 1. A-Z filter in Album Artists; When I tap it, it toggles on/off. But if I toggle it to Off, why doesn't it stay off permanently? For example; Go to Album Artist, toggle A-Z to Off, Select Artist, tap return key on phone & A-Z is

I only had a couple of files (maybe 15) in the root folder, but moving them to a subfolder fixed the issue, thanks! Strangely though the amount of files in root hadnt changed in the last couple of month. The server log doesnt reveal anything that meets the eye, the only error repeatedly popping

If you don't have a lot of music in the root folder, try just doing a full rescan. Browse Music Folder does NOT use the database. You should even ben able to use it without ever having run a scan. Maybe server.log would tell you more? -- Michael

Hi, recently the behaviour when trying to access specific folders through the "Music Folder" option has changed, don't know in which version though. What happens is 1. click "Music Folder" 2. all folders and all files in the root folder are listed 3. clicking on another folder to further drill

Yep. It's a pity that nobody in the Android arena comes close to what Pippin has achieved on the iOS platform. And this is IMO not about "philosophies of app development" . It's about commitment, capabilities, quality and budget. Pippin runs the show professional. He has rewritten his stuff

Fair enough. If it takes a lot of work - it doesn't make sense to you. That's the way it is. But. If you'd ever consider Have a look at iPeng first. I basically pointed out in above comment/proposal what iPeng is doing. They've done it well. iPeng seems to be much more stable in that area.

Ok. Got it. I had a customized home-menu with Music Source turned off. Stupid me. However. I still have issues. 1. If I switch to a server (top menu) that has no players connected the Home-screen stays blank. There's no way to assign a player to that screen. 2. Now the app has server/player
