I've released a beta version of a new Song Info plugin. It adds a new
CLI/JSON command to the server that makes it possible to retrieve
additional information about a song, artist or album. The Album Flow
applet uses this to get images, for example artist images from the
LastFM web site.

currently playing song, and makes them available in the song info page. I was
just about to update it to provide jive menus.

An alpha version of a Song Lyrics plugin is now available that provides
lyrics from lyricsfly.com through the Song Info plugin. It currently
uses a temporary API key which results in that it only shows parts of
the lyrics and it will only be valid for a week or so. I've applied for
a permanent key

Once installed and LMS has been restarted you should play one of the FIP
radio stations. If the plugin is working then you should see artist

Still working fine here.
Note -some late evening (France time) shows on FIP do not provide song
info. I think it is mainly for the shows that are live with a studio
guest.

Are you OK with editing source files on your LMS?
If yes - then take a look in the Plugin.pm file in the RadioFrance
subdirectory of the plugins and remove the # from the start of lines 557
to 559 to get a dump of the data received from Radio France.

Turn on diagnostics level debugging for plugin-RadioFrance (or similar
... am not at LMS to check) from Advanced settings in LMS and then see
what the logs say.
Also - check that your LMS system has the correct time set.

Aha ... we did a debug session and might have found the cause.
One of the data sources for FIP does a HTTP Redirect to HTTPS
In this instance the LMS is 7.9.0 running on a MAC
So - my current guess is that it is missing the Perl SSL module.
I know how to install that on Debian style systems but n

switch and plugged it in to the router (along with Monitor, mouse and
