I'll have here a similar problem with the installation. But I think my problem is the 64Bit-Version of FreeNAS... Maybe this is also the problem of the other guys... Just for an example, if I try to run seral comands 'by hand' freenas:/usr/local/bin# ./perl ELF interpreter /libexec/ld-elf32.so.

Another update. I guess you first need to install SlimNAS 1.0.1 and then upgrade to SlimNAS 1.1.1. following the upgrade steps on Michael's website. I downgraded from SlimNAS 1.1.1 to SlimNAS 1.0.1. Next I upgraded to SlimNAS 1.1.1 and that does work. I now have SC7.1 running. If you start from
