Meanwhile I have loaded a number of booklets into my music library, all
pdf's. The strange thing is that some get displayed and some not. I
cannot find a reason for it. It is alway the same albums / booklets
which do not get displayed.
I run a quick test with your sample files: dropped them all

files but now I know where to look.

Searching the web for "iPeng" and "Textdatei" I found a thread covering
exactly my question. So just for the record and those able to read

It's available under the "Textdateien aus dem Ordner" or similar menu
item on albums and tracks. Some files like "biography.pdf" or
"review.pdf" would show up under the Biography or Album Review menu
respectively.

I looked at it yesterday evening, but unfortunately it does not provide
this option. This plugin is all about loading album covers and artist
pictures, be it local or online, into LMS.

Um, not sure, Michael isn't using it anymore, I believe Triode does but
don't remember in which plugin.
the syntax is simply "website : " in the item fields of the JSON
reply (the main level).

It's possible through the web interface by using Custom Browse plugin
and either:
- Setting up a header with objecttype "albumheader" and template "Album
information files". Which results in that they show up as a link in the
album headers in the Custom Browse based browse menus.
