During the SC7 startup the server is generating the invalid value error
shown below in the server log. I can't find where this value is set in
the Trackstat configuration pages. Should I be concerned?... The plugin
appears to be working.

I am trying to use the Trackstat plugin with the latest 7.01
nightly builds on Ubuntu 7.04.
When I select Trackstat and ask it to play something ( usually Albums
never played ) it all seems to work fine, with the SB3 ( and SB2 )
playing music perfectly. However once playing the SB interface

Everything works fine but the rating by pressing the numbers 1-10 on my
remote wont change the rating but let the player switch to the favorite
number 1-10 and play this one, can anyone help me?

I think there is something wrong with your installation, there is a
directory mentioned in the logs:
C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server/Plugins/

If you have and it still doesn't show up, could you restart SlimServer
and then directly afterwards goto: http://localhost:9000/log.txt
And see if you can see any errors in the log.

- TrackStat: A TrackStat menu under Plugins both in web interface
and on SqueezeBox interface.
- Dynamic Playlists: A Dynamic Playlists menu under Plugins both in

I am using the rating auto adjust feature - and have it set to decrease
if less than 30% of a song is played. But it seems like many of the
times I skip early in the song, it doesn't decrement. Is there some
logic to that or is it simply that I am skipping before

Is it not possible to save the rating to, say, an ID3 tag, or an APE
tag, as a custom field?
I'm sure this has been considered but I think iTunes saves it as a
tag...why not Trackstat? This way it follows the music wherever it
goes.

probably make sense to store it in a custom tag.

honest I've never once worried about losing my collection (which, of
course, is backed up regularly).
