ports) to be defined? I'm hitting the same issue as tbali - I want to
run the LMS behind a firewall and don't really want to open up the
entire 32000-65535 range.

A bit counter intuitive but assume it is basically taking Spotifys
normalisation with it on and with it off it will then apply LMSs volume

What about outgoing traffic on your router? Spotty uses 4070/TCP and
5353/UDP in addition to regular web traffic.

LMS is the current development version. I try to keep it stable (as I'm
using it myself). But features can change over night, or new bugs
introduced. If you want to use LMS8 you should be willing to update your
LMS every (few) day(s).

I doubt there was "no result". You have to understand what you
You need to install a different version of Spotty with LMS 8.0.0. To do
this you need to add Michael's test repository.
That's only required if you want to integrate Spotty with your local
library. But then you shouldn't even install LMS8 if you're not
interested in that feature :-)

It seems recently that the Spotty volume drops after pausing a track for
even a few seconds. Its sounds almost 1/2 as loud on resume.
I think this is due to transcoding: by default Spotty would stream Ogg
directly to the player (if possible). When pausing or seeking it would
