I've used IR Blaster for many years. In my opinion, you will get a much better user experience by using the Squeezebox for the volume control. Set the volume control on your amp so that it's as loud as you'll ever want in when 100% on the SB, leave it at that setting and enjoy. BTW, I have

I hate to say this but the ir blaster plugin appears to be broke for many folks and it doesn't appear like there will be any updates to it. If you have set the player to fixed volume you should not be able to to change the squeezebox volume,only your amp.I'm afraid it is likely that the plugin

okay not so simple. I have set the volume to 100% fixed output, but the remote still controls the amp and SBC 3 ? the only slightly odd part at play here is the fact I am using a SBT remote instead of the Classic as it was the only spare I could get hold of. I have checked the irBlaster settings
