Pretty sure squeezeslave out of the box doesn't support plugins
requiring "direct" streaming like Spotify - you'll need something like
squeezelite instead...

Triode,
v2.3.6 is still showing buffer problems when streaming across
synchronised clients (with LMS 7.7.3 running on Ubuntu 13.10 64-bit).
Streaming from a single device is absolutely fine, but as soon as I turn
on synchronisation on another client, the debug log shows the "rate x /
44100" dropp
In your server plugin settings page on the web UI, make sure "Update
plugins automatically" is ticked - this should keep things up to date.
Alternatively, uninstall the plugin, then re-install and it ought to
grab the latest...

I haven't updated for a long time and am still using version 2.2.1 of
the Spotify plug in with LMS version 7.7.1
It's all been working really well, however I recently noticed I can't
get the Spotify radio functionality to work so I looked around and
noticed that Spotify 2.3.6 is the late
On my backup NAS I manually upgraded LMS with the 9 files changes made
to support ImapgeProxy and happy to report that the plugin is working as
expected and also launches automatically.
I then manually updated my main NAS and again Spotify works as expected
but unfortunately it does not launch au
(As an aside, when can we go back to calling LMS SlimServer???)

I went ahead and downgraded my Synology D212j to 4.3 again. That works,
it was a bit of a pain, but all is in order now. Spotify works

Version 2.3.3 is now available for all platforms: linux, windows, mac
The main changes in this version are:
- new image resizing software on 7.8 which makes better use of the LMS

Dear Triode,
For several years I used to listen to your excellent plugin Spotify on
my squeezebox 4 (Touch, Classic, Boom, Radio). I had to update DSM 5 on
my Synology DS212 NAS there 48 hours. Since then, despite a reinstall
without problems (LMS 7.7.3), I'm stuck on "Helper App: Not Running".
