A stupid question

Is it possible (with some kind of workaround) to get play-through to work on PowerBook 500s? I want to record something, but have to always use my Quadra, because the 540c doesn't have play-through. Thanks, Eric --- Sent on Eric's

Nope! There is no unix (afaik) that supports the 540 due to the oddball 68lc040 chip in it. The only 68k unix that is available is one of the bsd clones, either netbsd or freebsd. That's not *entirely* accurate. You might, emphasis on might, have a specific version of the LC040 that is not
