AFAIK, 5300, 3400 and G3 'Kanga' batteries can all be used in the 3400. I'm not sure if the 1400 had the same form factor, but I'd imagine if it did, you could use it as well in your 3400. I have 3 3400 batteries, all of which hold a charge quite nicely. Should I look for more or is that suffic

Palm Sync to PowerBook IR Port

I was able to sync my Palm by IR to a G3 Wall St. using OS 8.6 and all I needed to do was to install the latest Palm Desktop software version 2.6.3 and you should be off to the races. You may need to tell the Palm Desktop sync software to us the IR port on that powerbook instead of the serial port
