I've just installed Spped Doubler 2.0 on my PB 5300cs running OS 8.1.
Now when I try and click on any icons on my desktop they disappear for
a few seconds and then reappear, but don't open their applications.
Anyone else run into this or any other problems with Speed Doubler?

I use a Lynksys Etherfast Cable/DSL 8-port router with a cable modem. There
was a booklet that came in the box with it that showed you how to configure
it. You fire up your browser then type in the address of the router. It is
in that booklet. For my cable company I had to tell them the MAC

memory effects and sometimes gets a little more running time out of your battery. You
get it from the same place as you find My Battery. Not nearly as much fun as Doom,
but it gives you a progress graph to watch

without a dialup connection/phone line connection.
I know of a service that allows you to email them, and
they then turn around and fax your email to your intended.

I recently picked up a powerbook 3400c and the previous owner -- I don't
know how/why -- ripped out the ethernet/modem it came with. The back of the
machine is just has a hole going into the laptop's case. I have a pcmcia 56k
modem, but would rather be able to connect it to my home LAN to
if it's a linksys then leave the username blank and type admin as the
password (or maybe the other way around, i'm not sure now.) if you changed
it from the default (above) you can reset it on the router itself by
pressing in the reset button with a paperclip or toothpick or whatever.
