After Cmd/start?

I was able to create a boot disk on a 16mb CF card, though I did "CHEAT". I used the system off of a MacOS 8.1 Disk Tools, which is a great way to create a small and fast starting emergency boot disk. I think I was able to create a bootable CF using a minimal 8.5 install, can't remember for cert

In regards to the shorting out of the powersupply. I have closely inspected with high powered magnifying glass the soldered contacts where the plug meets the logic board. It appears this was re-soldered at one time. I can see slim cracks here. I am wondering if this is a replacement logic boar

well it is not cheap but you can do it by using one of the airport base stations. They have modems and enet in them. then you hook them up to a hub and away you go. I believe the airport will assign dhcp for you. But costs may be prohibitive as would be in the $300 range unless you can find a
