My guess is that you have Virtual Memory on. I'd guess that the PB has 10mb of real RAM which would create an 11mb VM file with the default settings. Jim Jabez McClelland wrote: > I guess this is a pretty basic Mac question, but I > hope soemone can help... > > I have a 165c with System 7.1.

The IDE controller will only support one drive, so you can't hook both up to your laptop. A SCSI dock to a desktop Mac is your best bet, or hook both machines up via ethernet crossover. -- JSH > Date: Sat, 06 Jul 2002 09:45:30 -0600 > Subject: 3400 upgrades and new HD Data Transfer > From: Wal

G3 upgrades and quicktime?

keyboard shot ?

2002-07-07 Thread admin
As of this morning, I have lost the use of the m, j and u keys on my uSB G4 keyboard. Any ideas? I tried zapping my PRAm using Option-Command-P-R, and that doesn't seem to be working either. I'm hoping I don't have to shell out for a new keyboard... -- PowerBooks is sponsored by

2300c won't boot

We have a 2300c that has had a problem with the video having tiny lines running vertical across the screen. We tried a 280c screen and it was the same thing. When we put the original display back on the machine, it stopped booting up. It doesn't do anything, no noise, nothing. As far as I can tell
