The device is called an Apple Presentation System. My box has the numbers:
602-1236-A and M2895LL/A. They work great, but if you have a non-Apple video
card in your 1400, you can't have 2 RAM modules stacked in the 3rd party memory
slot . A single module is fine and the Apple 4 or 8 Meg module

If you are running Open Transport 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 and OT/PPP 1.0 it got
installed with the OT/PPP dialer. Look for GV Platinum (I think) to be a
choice in the Modem control panel.
My PB180 w/ 19.2 modem ran 7.5.5 with OT and OT/PPP and since I didn't
know what the name of the modem

No, i am actually talking about the actual PCMCIA card so I can
connect it to he internet. I've got a Macintosh Powerbook 5300. Also looking
for the PCMCIA software to go with it
