For all you clever types:

the only res refreshing at 60Hz. 800x600 and 1024 etc refreshed at 85Hz.
I don't see where is your problem : put the

Sorry to display my ignorance, but what's an Apple Presentation
...put the powerbook to sleep, plug in the monitor, turn it on, wake up
the powerbook...

powerbook 3400 power board is ? If I had to guess, would it be a

IN-Focus made (for Apple) and bundled up a breakout-splitter box with a
plentiful amount of cables and Performa-friendly multimedia software, which
Apple called their TV Presentation Syytem. Meant to enhance the Performa

Hi all! Questions on this topic -- where (online? mail it in? resources?)
can I get a 1400 battery rebuilt? What kind of performance/results after
the rebuild? Does it cost significantly less than new battery? Not heard
of this before and am quite intrigued... Thanks very much...

KS,
I had mine rebuilt by a local outfit called Battery Boys here in
Saskatoon. Cost me $125.00 CDN I think. The results were comparable to
buying a new one which was over $200.00. The 1400 battery is a Nicad I

cells. The

Gosh, that is lucky you had someone locally who had the knowledge to do it.
Though this used to be a Mac-friendly town (the university was almost

ridiculously low price -- nobody knew what it was!) and anyone who knew
