Was this whole commercial post authorized by the listmom?

I'm the listmom, so I guess I can break my own rule against crossposting.
I've been thinking of this for about a week now, and I really want to do
a series of articles under the idea I Can Do It on My Low End Mac.
In the past I've tried writing articles on how a Mac Plus or II is still
useful.
I was rash - I apologize... The list was a bit long, and I overreacted.
Other lists I'm on are more strict, and i cross-read (the opposite of crossposting!)
Sorry,

Commercial?! Give the guy a break.
Recently, after using Retrospect Express to place a duplicate of my boot
partition on another hard drive for safe storage, I reformatted the
original partition and reinstalled OS 8.6.I then proceeded to reinstall
various applications and carry over other programs not requiring an

Depending on the model, you can try the 'three finger salute', where you
strike apple-control-restart.
Otherwise, there might be a reset button on the back, behind the ports
cover.
Which model are you trying to restart??

Hi Group
I use a Ridata Smart Media Adapter and it works perfect with my PowerBook

Someone on the list asked about shutting down pb on freeze. I've
never had a problem when I've pulled out the power supply. Of course
you can hold down the shift option command keys and push the power
off button and it should restart. Hope this helps
