Has anyone experimented (hopefully with success) in polishing out
scratches or other small blemishes on the exterior case plastics of a
PB? I'm thinking a product used for laminate counter's or perhaps a car
might be worth a try.
I'd like to hear some thoughts and ideas before I make a product

TRy Tap Plastics they carrie an full line of stuff for that and if you feel brave you
can all so try toothpast(not the gel) but that can make you PB a bit shiner than you
want as it tend to polish the plastic a bit more that you might like.

i use a product called blue magic to polish my caving headlamp plastic
lenses to take out scratches and fog. I don't know why it wouldn't work on
other plastics. it's available at wal-mart.

powerbook, however. I've taken the short money route and purchased a
1400c on ebay for less than $200, and spent more than that for a G3 upgrade.

Sometimes the server replies with an error... Usually best idea to just wait
a little while before re-posting. (all 3 of your posts thus far have come

I have a 1400 too, and I can certainly agree with the 'loveableness' of it.

the first two got bounced to me and then I saw the note about plain text
and bouncing... I've changed the settings for powerbook to plain text
only, instead of both plain text and html coded.
