Yes, excellent point; however, I do not know many other Mac folks in my
town or nearby (even though this used to be an all-Mac town/campus). I
will ask my dad which OS he runs (same age machine as mine but desktop),
and after that have one other resource on campus for possible borrow.

It worked great. It took a while, but it worked. I set the file size to
.5k and freed up half of the 10gb hd.

file, the computer locked up. I installed Ram Doubler and upped the memory
for quicktime. Now it plays but has skips of static. What do I need to do?
