I still have a Mac or 2 I haven't got around to renaming the HD of from "Macintosh HD", but for the most part I like to name the principal boot drive after the Mac's physical characteristics, also the Mac's network name; other drives are functional like "Projects" or "Backup". Kewl Brian! HFS+ helps. I hope you have partitioned it also. It saves wear and tear on the drive. The system does not have to scan as large of an area to find what it needs. So the OS should feel snappier. I name my drives for easily remembered characters. Some for characters in the carto

I order my first powerbook last Friday and I want to make sure I have the basics before I start using it. Would anybody mind telling me how important a keyboard chamois or cover is to protect the screen on the new Aluminum G4s? I don't want to get a new computer and then get a messed up screen! Al
