Hi Power-Mac-ers, I bought a used 3400c, and am having trouble getting the internet working on it. As a way to test my system settings, etc, I took out the hard drive, temporarily installed it another 3400c (which has another problem.) I can access the internet on it, so that tells me the system/

Next question; If I buy a PCMCIA card with Ethernet, what are the chances that will work in this computer, since the built-in Ethernet doesn't work? It'd *better* work, since the PCMCIA circuitry is entirely independent of the onboard ethernet. If it doesn't work, then you have *serious* proble

Bill, After responding to our off list correspondence. I shockingly and with embarasement realized that I can plug in a RJ-45 jack in the back of the 3400. But, I coudn't find an "internal ethernet" option in TCP/IP or appletalk control panels. So I looked in Apple Profile and find no internal ethe
