that 7.02 would take more RAM (I've only got 64 MB) but
after installing 6.2 on the 1400 I see it takes 28 Mb which is the same
as 7.02 takes on the G3 Lombard.
Is there any reason not to use 7.02?

card before you do a Clean Install. Try this only after you have done all
else, and see if it will let you install the wireless drivers with the card
removed.

I've got the same VpowerInfo application. When I run it it reports:
CPU Type : PPC 750
CPU Clock : 233.4 MHz
BUS Clock : 33.34 Mhz (perhaps this is the 33 MHz that Apple System
Profiler reports as "machine speed"?)

Backside Cache Clock
(extension)
VpowerInfo (looks like an application)"
Does anyone else have one of these Vpower upgrades?
