I have two fully charged batteries for my PB 190. While I can get my PB 190
to boot up while plugged in via the ac adapter, it refuses to boot up with
either battery. I have reconditioned and fully recharged both batteries,
still, no boot up. PB works fine otherwise.
Any suggestions?

Well, I was so excited about having lined up a CF card, CF/SM card reader,
and PCMCIA adapter, all for about $30! The adapter arrived yesterday, and
the media card is on its way, and then today I get email from the eBay
seller about the CF/SM card reader that it isn't available. (Which I thought

OOOpppsss!!! I realized that I read your comment wrong. While there probably
isn't a special driver for the PB, I don't have a driver on the

ever needed on the 'net and downloaded them to get around the CD
issue.

Here in Japan, they run around $100 - $120 at discount stores.
Local Micro-Center here (Kansas) sells them for $250! So that sounds a lot
cheaper.
