oldest OS for pb190cs?

I need to know the oldest OS that can be installed on the pb 190cs. Apple says its 7.5.2 whereas lowendmac allows 7.1.1. This would make all the difference to me as I'm looking for a project machine that would be running 7.5 (Russian, so I can't count on updates). I'm wavering between the 190cs

Is there any legit reason powerbooks I buy at auction have the serial numbers removed? They look to be from legit dealers/individuals but I am a bit concerned. Is this something commonly done, say, for off-lease units, or ? Would you have misgivings about buying from such folks in this case? Th

virus or what affecting date & time?

A few weeks ago I got a 180c at auction. Soon after I noticed the date & time would change literally before my eyes at the click of a mouse button. I tried deleting the d/t pref file, a few other pref files, rebuilding the desktop, & zapping the pram among other things. All to no avail. Later
