About the previous fix by resetting the computer, I
tried holding the reset
button in for about 45 seconds then reinstalled the
battery and the power
cord and that didn't work. I repeated the procedure
about 3 or 4 times, so I
don't think it's a pram problem. So I don't know
what else it

Thanks Jim for the advice. I tried it and it didn't work. Would you or
anyone else have an idea to what would cause the computer to not start up
after working just fine the day before? I haven't a clue myself.
Check the sleep indicator light on the upper corner
Howdy,
It's me, the guy with the broken latch. I want to first say thank you to
everyone that has responded to my previous problem. It sounds like something
simple to fix and I will probably fix it for sure after I get this major
problem resolved. On with the show.
Ok, here is the deal. I
Remove battery
Unplug power supply
Press and hold reset button for 30 seconds
Replace battery
Hook up power supply
Let it cook for an hour or so
Restart.

I think I just read somewhere that someone had a similar problem and the
cause turned out to be the power module. What is a power module, I'm not
that familiar with the inner workings of my Power Book, is that like the
power supply in a desktop computer? How difficult would it be to swap out?
