I checked the box when I got home last nite. the VST 5000 series charger
that I have specifically states NiMH batteries on the back, doesn't
mention the Li-On ones. I do't know if this means they wouldn't charge
them, but with what I've read about the Li-On's catching fire I've stayed

VST has changed that product a bunch.

I think they do charge the LiOns, but to be honest, I can't remember--I'm
at work and don't have the charger info handy. The box doesn't specify
only nickle-metal hydride (pulled up and looked at the box on one of the
