Hi all I decieded to test the battery for myself and see how it works in the 190cs i set the monitor to 256 colours (The maximum for this book) and have so far used the Mac since 10.25 am for word docs, email, veiwing photos, and light web browsing. It is still going strong and it is 1.07pm

No they don't charge the same. You can expect the NiMH cells to take longer to charge using a charger 'designed' for NiCd, but the charger won't harm your NiMH cells, and they'll charge up just fine. I've been doing this for three years regulasrly with NiMH AAA cells for my PalmPilot, and they
