I've been trying to get the command key shortcut for find in content
working, but can not (I think it is shift-cmd-c). The command for find in
address book (shift-cmd-a) does work fine.
Can anyone else get this to work or is it a bug?

Can someone tell me if PM 4.2 supports Hebrew in either the classic or X
version?
PowerMail supports hebrew on Mac OS 8/9, and with classic on Mac OS X.
The carbon version does not currently support hebrew.

Yes, once or twice a day since upgrading to 4.2. As Mirko suggested
I don't know if I was just lucky, but I restarted PM with cmd-option keys
pressed, and in the dialogue I seleceted the verify consistency of
records option.
No low level rebuild.
That worked for me.

If you do need to reply with quotes to such a message, there are two
HTML Cleanup scripts at Wayne Brisette's PowerMail AppleScript Archives:

Hello Mirko,
Yes, you're right, there is a globe.
Thanks for pointing that out, I must complain to the sender.

Is it possible that the mail is actually in HTML, not text?
You can check in the bottom of the window: if there is a Globe, it is HTML.

I have never had the problem with the count going negative. It's been
some time since i had a message hang up Power Mail. However when it did i
used my old mail application on netscape 4.7 to get rid of the offending
mail. That was the only way i found some relief.

I have just received a strange email.
When I tried to create a reply the received message refused to allow me
to select any of the text in it. When I tried to view the Full Header for
any clues I found that all items under the View menu are grayed out.
