Subsequent searches are fast and instant. But the first search more often
than not will trigger the update process. What's stomping me is that
sometimes (rarely) it doesn't do the update before the search.
What gives?

(with that last attempt I ended up with : 0 messages, -7 unread)
It seems linked to a filter that I have that auto-replies to
certain messages and sets their status to 'Replied'.
What to do about this?

change back, since I don't really know what is triggering the bug.
But the bug is still there and jumping through weird hoops to be able
to build a group of contacts is not something that I would like to do
often. The bug should be resolved.

There seem to be a bug in the Address book function.
I'm trying to create a group of about 7 addresses. For some reason
PowerMail refuses to add all 7 people. It accepts the creation of
the group, and the addition of the addresses to it. However, when
I close the address book window and reopen i
I have my own mail server. The server is setup to deliver mail to
multiple email addresses to a single user account.
Then PowerMail picks up the mail from the server from that user's
mail box.
However, when replying to my mail, all replies' 'From' field default
to the main account as it should.
