Comcast is now adding $4.00 a month for Internal Wiring Insurance. It is
being automatically added to your bill unless you tell them to remove it.
What BS, how often does the internal wiring go bad? Tell them to remove the
charge and the insurance.

Yeah my brother got something similar, I had a frustrating remote

I know for electricity extension cords, sometimes the power drops over
really long cords. Do really long ethernet cords have a similar drop of
the signal they carry? I'm talking about 25 feet of cable. Would the
user have a better signal/speed if she were right at the router in my
home

What about if I'm using a switch? Again, the distances are UNDER 25
feet. My gut feeling is that it won't experience any signal
degradation. My son's xBox Live account obviously needs to connect to
the same internet as my

Just try. I never had problems with cables running in walls all around my
house. Some must be several hundred feet around all kinds of obstacles and

Cat-5 and cat-6 have a maximum length of 100 meters. You might push that if you
are in an area of no other electrical interference.
The shorter the cable the better as there is a velocity factor with electrical
signals through wire.
I don't think you could see a difference (without a $20K

I'm not an Exceller, but I agree the syntax looks wrong.
1) The syntax for combining logical values is the AND(l1,l2).
2) I think the '*' has been working only because the logical result is
internally a 1 or a 0. It's not proper syntax - it's an accident of
implementation.
